Biographical notes
The studio of planning Angilella was created by architect Turi Angilella , who, having developed a curriculum of work for both public and private sector clients, decided to put his almost twenty years of experience and expertise to work in the field of cultural inheritance and of Architecture. The company is based in Palermo, with the office for planning and exhibition located in a nineteenth century building in Palermo’s historical centre. ANGILELLA Studio is full service architectural firm that specializes Design, construction supervision and testing of public and private works in architecture, carefully bio architecture and building restoration. Interior design, research and development of innovative materials. We also provide professional comprensive as-built surveys with data, drawing and CAD disks on all architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing aspects of the client’s facilities. Biographical notes Turi Angilella was born in 1963 in Palermo where he lives and works today. In 1989 he founded the Metastudio Associati. In 1990 he opened his own studio. In 1996 he became president of Palermo’s branch of the Istituto Nazionale di Bioarchitettura. In 1997 he specialised in the conservation of historical architecture at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. He has exhibited his work extensively, including shows at London, in Harrods Department Store and in ICA (Institute of Contemponary Arts), at Palermo’s City Council and Trevi Flash Art Museum (Perugia and Bari) in Italy. He has written numerous articles in scientific journals and edited collections.
