Architects at Milan, Romolo Calabrese
RRC Studio Architects is active in many fields of architecture in its various
scales, working in national and international projects. Intervention areas
concern masterplans, public spaces, public buildings, housing, etc. In this
years the office has been designed urban plans, waterfronts, intitutional
buildings, sports facilities, school centers, commercial spaces, residences and
other.
The office pays particular attention to national and international competitions,
identifying in them the best chance of expression as well an opportunity for
professional research toward possible architectural experiences. In 2007 won
first price for the creation of a urban block, including residences, offices and
commercial spaces in Zaragoza (Spain). In 2008 gets mentioned for the
planning of a sustainable city for 40,000 residents and 40,000 workers in
Nordhavnen, Copenhagen (Denmark). The working method used in positions
and competitions, starting with the expressed conditions, investigates both the
typological and morphological conditions of the intervention area as well
sociological and cultural aspects, proposing solutions tailored to programs
and contexts.
RRC Studio Architects in 2008 partecipated in the exhibition Rizoma: Biennal
Young Italian Architects organized by Level 4 Architecture. Projects have been
published on architectural magazines and major newspapers as L’Arca,
Costruire, Modulo, C3 (Korea), IoArchitetto, Bravacasa, Corriere della Sera, Il
Sole24Ore, Il Giorno, El Periodico, Heraldo de Aragon etc.
RRC Studio Architects born in Milan in 1999. In 2003 opened an office in Cap
D'Ail - France.

From 1997 to 1999 he teach Architectural Design at the Politecnico of Milan.
Design Collaboration with Aldo Rossi Studio, Milan - Italy, Munchen - Germany (1995-1997).
In 1999 creates rrc architetti studio.
He lives in Italy and in France.
In these years, working in the international architectural survey, planned institutional buildings, sport centers, schools, commercial centers, residential buildings and more; participate in architecture competitions obtaining in 2007 the first prize for the proyect of an urban complex -residencial buidings, officies and commercial spaces in Saragozza - Spain.
In 2003 opens one seat in Cap D’Ail - France.
