I've been working as senior technical specialist for italian Sun Microsystems Software Presales team since 2006 developing and supporting direct and channel sales activities for different vertical markets (Government, Telco, Manufacturing and Education).

I moved to Rome in 2002 to setup and manage Rome's lab division benchmark and P.O.C. activities being involved in almost all Sun HPC benchmark activities in Italy.

I have been hired in Milan Presales division and leveraging previous HPC experiences, assigned to local specialized benchmark group to carry out performance and tuning activities for technical and commercial application tests taking place at the local benchmark center. As benchmark center grew becoming also a lab to support customer’s project risk evalution through P.O.C. (Proof Of Concepts).

I worked for an ICT services company delivering consulting and management services for Unix systems and their integration with Legacy Mainframe and Microsoft systems. Activities had been carried out dealing with customer’s environments characterized by multi vendor technologies (HP-UX, IBM AIX, SGI IRIX, Linux) and expecially related to mission critical systems managed using clustering technologies.
