Having worked for communication agencies for years (ad sales, accounts direction, new business development, strategic consultancy, team management), I have developed a sound experience in interactive advertising and direct response marketing. In 2004 I founded the digital media and advertising company Relevant Impact srl, which was acquired by Class Editori in 2011.
I am in charge of the Internet advertising sales by Class Pubblicità, exclusive ad sales company of Class Editori group. My role implies the responsibility for economical objectives of the division, to be reached through following activities: Internet team management, integration with print and tv ad sales groups, new business development, new ad products development, relationship with the Publisher. I also represent Class Editori group by IAB Italy (Interactive Advertising Bureau) and FCP/Assointernet (Federation of Italian Ad Sales Companies).
2009 - 2009Chief Marketing Officer for BeWebCom Corp., an interactive media company operating in b-to-b and b-to-c markets, focused in Europe and North America. I was in charge of global Marketing and Sales activities of the company. I managed the global marketing budget, overseeing marketing strategy, media buying, digital marketing programs, public relations strategy, internal communications and corporate development. I worked actively across all internal departments, developing relationships with all external constituents, such as senior-level clients, advertisers, publishers, partners etc.
2008 - 2009I worked for DMC (FullSIX group), leading communication agency in interactive marketing and direct response advertising. The role implied the development of the agency portfolio and business strategies, the acquisition of new clients and the management of existing clients: together with the COO, I was also responsible for human resources management and development.
2004 - 2011Founder and Managing Director of Relevant Impact srl, publisher of the price comparison engine MrWallet ( www.mrwallet.it ), one of the first info-commerce websites launched in Italy (2004). Main responsibilities included sales management and development, editorial management and development, product development guidelines definition, financial management. The company was fully acquired by Class Editori group in July 2011.
2001 - 2008Responsibility in DMC (FullSIX group) for key accounts management and development, coordinating multiple skills teams (marketing consultants, media planners, designers, programmers) in communication projects development. During the years I also assisted the CEO in new business and new services development. My major clients: Alitalia, Babelgum, Best Western, Carrefour, Casa.it, Club Med, Editalia, European School of Economics, Fiditalia, ING Direct, Mars Italia, Mondadori, RCS, Tele2, Virgilio.it.
2000 - 2000I worked as Marketing and Editorial Manager for the online auction company Aucland (LVMH Group) in Milan, coordinating the marketing and editorial teams. My responsibilities included definition and allocation of the marketing budget (tv, press, radio e Internet), partnership negotiations with major Italian Web portals, coordination of creative and media buying agencies, editorial management and development, media relations.
1999 - 1999I worked for the Internet solutions company DNM Datanord Multimedia (now FullSIX Italy) as digital consultant and online media planner. My clients included Intel, Lloyd Adriatico, Lufthansa, Volvo. My activities were development of online media strategies for clients, online advertising campaigns planning and management, internal creative and technology briefing and coordination, internal and external coaching.
1998 - 1998Internship programme run by the online advertising network Clickit (now AdPepper Media) in Milan, where I assisted the CEO in the company start-up: development of communication plans for clients, salesforce back-office handling, development of marketing materials, supporting in events organization.
1997 - 1997Internship programme with the Association of Culture and Free Time in Milan. I was involved in tipical press office activities and media relations, assisting the Press Office Manager: relation with journalists, press releases preparation, news conferences organization, press clipping.
