2005 - 2007Reporting to Engineering Platform Director.
My main role was to manage a project budget to a supply of traction components for 12 High Speed Trains (AVR) to Spain providing customer satisfaction by meeting cost, quality and delivery targets.

• Define Master Project plan
• Coordinate the assigned engineering, sourcing, operation resources
• Cost controlling and reporting
• Risk & opportunity management
2003 - 2005Reporting to the European Sourcing Director.
Major responsibility as sourcing representative in tender phase, contribution in the project management team, ensuring that quality, lead-time and cost objectives were met for the Sourcing aspects of projects.
Member of a European Sourcing Team (active across different European manufacturing sites) - traction systems for high speed trains.
Key tasks:
• Leading negotiation with potential and with current supplier
• Managing sourcing risks and opportunities
• Participating to Make Vs Buy process
• Coordinating Sourcing activities of an International team of Buyers
2002 - 2003reporting to the Rolling Stock Sourcing Director based in ALSTOM’s headquarters.
Main objective was to establish a sourcing policy for the Traction Sourcing community for the assigned commodities (switchgears, resistors, and transformers) for a yearly global volume of about 15 Euro Million.
Key tasks:
• Collect and globalize local need for catalogue products
• Negotiate yearly catalogue prices for all traction manufacturing European sites
• Negotiate supply agreements with preferred suppliers for specific product/contracts
• Manage Quality, Cost and Delivery indicators for preferred suppliers
• Set up the sourcing policy through Business Plan for the assigned commodity and deploy it to Project Teams and Engineering community.
• Develop Emerging Countries Suppliers in order to secure cost savings targets
2001 - 2002Focus on the integration of the newly acquired site in Milan into ALSTOM’s organization (acquired on 01/08/2001).
Key projects: leading a “cost reduction program” of General Expenses and Overheads put in place since September 2001.
The program recording methods and principles have been subsequently applied to other departments: Research & Development, Sourcing, Production to reach the saving results expected by ALSTOM’s Corporate Division.
Main tasks were focused on sourcing process optimization, including the supplier base reduction via increased outsourcing, “call-off” purchase orders, and monitoring of the implementation at the local level of ALSTOM’s worldwide frame agreements.
