I’m responsible for the Planning and Control of the CTO division of H3G Italy S.p.A., company operating in the mobile TLC sector and first operator that offers UMTS and digital video broadcasting services world wide.

As head of Planning and Control, since the beginning of the start up, I have the responsibility of the capital budgeting analysis, the business planning, the budgeting, the cost cutting analysis, the reporting to the top management and shareholders and the variance analysis with risk assessment. All these activities are carried out at international level inside Hutchison Whampoa Limited group in order to coordinate and control the ICT investments of all the 3g companies of the group. This role implies to be in touch with HWL’s headquarter in Hong Kong in order to consolidate, analyze and track investments in 3g technology, budget data and costs to highlight deviations from the baseline, both for budget and plans. I also define business processes, using the Price 2 methodology, in order to define the governance process to enhance efficiency and to allow the CTO to periodically receive data for the dashboard.

I work per objectives in a multi-project environment with a high level of variability that cannot have an influence on the achievement of the deadlines. My communication and interpersonal skills and my attitude for workgroup are very good. I coordinate a group of five people.

 Capital budgeting analysis
 Business planning, budgeting and rolling reforecast, variances analysis and management of the outsourcing contract with Ericsson in terms of governance and monitoring of the investments and contract
 Cost reduction analysis, bids with suppliers for price negotiation
 Design and implementation of a system which allows to control the cost trends for the Technical Division in order to increase efficiency and reduce costs using Prince 2 methodology
Work internationally carried out being in touch with the 3g worldwide companies of the Hutchison Whampoa Limited group, based in Honk Kong, in order to coordinate the most important 3g investments in ICT technologies such as Billing, CRM or Products delivery platforms.
