> Sales Manager Germany – resident in Munich (DE)
In charge of the start up of the new legal entity in Munich, my tasks imply:
- Sales: new business on direct and indirect clients throughout Germany, both for technology, consultancy and media sales.
- Strategic tasks: definition of products with which to enter the market, positioning towards competitors, definition of pricing according to local standards, creation of special products/services to offer locally.
- Marketing tasks on the German market (+ cooperation with our PR agency): adaptation of marketing material to local taste, definition of tradeshows to exhibit to, advertising opportunities, events to attend, sponsorships, web actions on social medias, web pr, whitepapers, lead generation through web…
- Link with law firm/notary/bank for the opening of the legal entity (Gmbh)
- Recruitment of local people
- Information retrieval on local market/competition/prices…
- Analysis: forecasting, budgeting (+ business plan at the very beginning and re-forecasts periodically)

> Sales Manager Germany & UK – from remote (Milan)
Complete responsibility of the start up of the London and Munich offices from remote:
- Sales responsibility: database building, cold calls, commercial proposition and negotiation. Both direct clients (mostly in the following industries: media/e-commerce/non profit/publishers) and indirect clients (agencies), definition of new price list;
- Marketing responsibility: scouting of international internet associations, definition of international tradeshows and organization of our presence there, negotiation of partnerships, supervision when defining the marketing material and on online promotional activities. (Google adwords, buzz, viral, e-mail marketing);

Apart from the activities listed below, I recruited, managed and trained one junior consultant, defined the targets of our team both monthly and on a quarterly basis, and was held responsible for his achievements .

- mainly sales development, both new business and management of existing clients in the field of digital/new media and mobile VAS;
- consultancy while defining the job description , candidates´ s profile and possible sources;
- recruitment and head hunting;
- Achievements: over budget on every quarter except the last one of 2008 due to the crisis.
