As a graduate of applied mathematics at the Polytechnic University of Minsk/Belarus (1998), Andrey Golub went on to earn a PhD in System Analysis and Software Engineering for Innovative Design Technology from the Minsk Polytechnic Academy (2001). His first job was as a Software Engineer at the Minsk subsidiary of Europe’s largest software company, EPAM Systems, where he was quickly promoted to the position of Analyst and Project Manager. At the invitation of the Istituto Trentino di Cultura’s Center for Scientific and Technological Research of Trento, one of Europe’s foremost institutions for Artificial Intelligence, Golub moved to Italy in 2002 and worked as a Senior Systems Analyst and Researcher. In 2004, he moved to Milan, where he worked in the high-tech, telecommunications and internet sectors, focusing on top-quality technological start-ups, IT departments of leading companies (Business Analyst to CIO) and R&D teams. In 2008, he joined the leading mobile digital entertainment provider Zero9 Group as Business Intelligence Manager, then served to Sicuritalia of Como, Italy’s leading Security and Investigation Operator, as R&D Manager for Innovation in B2C new products line.
Since April 2009, Golub works as an independent strategy consultant, R&D adviser and entrepreneur/founder or partner for high-tech projects. His interests center on new technology, new media and social computing projects as well as a passion for web 2.0 marketing and communication.
Andrey Golub has been assigned in 2008 and 2010 such important recognition as "Who's Who in the World" from Marquis Who's Who committee.

I was also coordinating the initial transfer of Parla.it's Client Base from France Telecom to Digital TV, evaluation and supervision of deployment of a new VoIP Service Delivery platform (NetCentrex MyCall) for Digital TV, its following integration with Digital TV's Billing (AMAT VoIP Billing), Digital TV's CRM (own development), Web/Self-Care Portal and Intranet applications.

I started dealing with a negative opinion about outsourcing of IT in Italy, now developing few high-potential long-term partners for GTE in Italy.

My work was to complete the framework with advanced features for System Architect: to allow modelling the target software with UML notation/templates. We developed a bridge from Goal-Oriented Analysis scheme to UML-driven Architectural Design, and also worked on extensions to UML for Agent-Oriented Modelling and specific architectural patterns for modelling of Multi-Agent systems in TROPOS.

1998 - 2000Belhard Group's Software Development Department is an IT outsourcing and software development subsidiary company, offering its services for medium sized enterprises in the European Union, the USA, Australia and on the whole territory of the ex-USSR.
The Project was analysis, design and development of an ERP system called "Archipelago" with robust and flexible system architecture, targeting different kinds of medium-size enterprises. The Product has been sold, installed and made working in tree medium-size manufacturing firms in Belarus (about 3.000 workers).
My role was Software Engineer (DB: ORACLE PL/SQL, App: PowerBuilder), then DB Designer, then later Sr.Software Design Engineer.
