Cuccarello Marco

Marco has developed his professional experiences expending his role in manufacturing - quality - logistic and operation areas.
In 1983 he started working for Magneti Marelli ( Fiat Group ) as a Technical Employee ( Process Eng. Department ). In 1987 Marco joined VM Diesel Engines where he spent several years of his working life managing manufacturing, quality and logistic activities and improving his competencies working with major Automotive Companies ( Ford - Rover - GM - Chrysler ) where, thanks to the important results he achieved, he became Manufacturing Director.
After this important experience in 1999 he started working for Ducati Motor as Manufacturing Director where, with the support of Porsche Consulting, he was one of the leaders of the highly successful Ducati changeover initiative which embraced Lean approach/principles throughout its manufacturing process as part of a major swing in Ducati Operations.
In 2002 Marco joined CISA Ingersoll Rand where he has developed important initiatives/projects that in summary you'll find below :
- Lean manufacturing approach ( kaizen -5S - TPM - OEE )
- Restructuring projects ( 2 Plants closure - outsourcing in LCC )
- Inventory reduction ( 20 turns project )
- VAVE ( Value Analysis - Value Engineering )
- Supply chain management ( logistics development centre )
- Business performance optimization ( OPS KPI system )
- Health and Safety ( reduction in work place accidents )
In 2011 Marco joined Nuova Star SpA where he is working on a new challenging mission in order to achieve Operational Excellence and Customer Satisfaction.
