SintEnergy operating in the field of applied research on clean technologies and environment. The consortium is structured as a spin-off incubator TechNest of the University of Calabria and it is composed of hi-tech enterprises, universitary departments and research institutions.

1996 contactsI was born as a turbine for tidal and river currents.
I can support several typologies of high performance impellers.
I have the characteristic to be able to stay in static equilibrium even in very strong currents over the 12 knots, because I return only one tractive effort to my anchorage structure.
My characteristics are indicated in the web site www.sintenergy.it (term “technology”).
I was born by an advanced system of prototypation at the Develpack S.r.l., and I have been further developed in the test channel and in the wind room of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Unical.
Today, I can generate a power of 6,2 Kw with an impeller of just one square meter placed in a tidal current of 3 m/s.
Showed to the Italian scientific community during the 65th National ATI Congress I will be permanently placed in the sea of the Strait of Messina.
The sisters of my numerous family are addressed abroad, in order to recuperate renewable energy.
