Roberto Race is a graduate student in Political Sciences and a professional journalist, expert in communication and public affair. He started his career within the students’ political associations, beginning in 1996 his journalist’s career as Campania’s reference for the "Studenti & C", rewiev, the Italian Ministry of Education’s official publication for youth. He cooperates with some of the most relevant Italian economic newspapers, such as Economy and Il Sole 24 Ore, being a communication advisor for many important Italian industries and many institutions located in Southern Italy, focusing on communicating industrial policies and the internalization of enterprises. From 2004 to 2007 he collaborated with the Representative of the European Commission in Italy, setting up training occasions for journalists and media makers about Europe and its institutions.
He has also been the external relations’ responsible for the “Fondazione Mezzogiorno Europa”, a think tank carrying on the legacy of the “Centro Mezziogiorno Europa”, an institution founded by the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano in 1999.
Furthermore, Roberto Race is the person responsible for the Press Office of the Italian section of the European Federalists, the association founded in 1943 by Altiero Spinelli. During the second Prodi Government, he was the strategy advisor to the Minister for Reforms and Innovations in Public Administration.
