Roberto Grossi's mission is to help customers meet their business objectives by providing a wealth of expertise developed over 25 years of activities in the areas of IT services, internet, telecommunications, banking, public administration and SMEs.
He has a solid track record of delivering on commitments, managing expectations and building innovative, improved or more cost-effective business services.
During his professional career in Italy and abroad, Roberto has successfully participated in initiatives and innovative projects, such as the pioneer launch of an international VPN business service (Telecom Italia's Mondonet network), the start-up of the first italian UMTS carrier ("Three"), the product development of SEPA-compliant payment services.
He has been one of the early adopter of the Internet, both from a technical and marketing perspective and was one of the first in Italy to adopt instruments of social networks and Web 2.0.
Since the beginning of 2009 he working as a freelancer collaborating with Italian and foreign companies in various professional fields such as market research, training, marketing and business development.
One of Roberto's key strenghts is the ability to combine the knowledge and understanding of the latest non-conventional marketing strategies and tools (web 2.0) with a solid background in "traditional" marketing.
Therefore he has recently founded SOCIAL MEDIA EASY to address the needs of organisations and individuals who wants to take advantage of the new business opportunities provided by Social Networks.
Social Media Easy ( http://www.socialmediaeasy.it ) offers Outsourcing services to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) willing to explore Social Media Marketing opportunites without incurring significative start-up costs in terms of training, resources and time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the business development activities associated with efforts to win new business and develop revenue streams in Italy and in the Central -Southern Europe region, with regards to VocaLink SEPA products and services (“Country Product Manager”).
• Product Manager for the SEPA Payments Capture Service (Payment initiation service for European corporate customers).
• Product Manager for EACHA interoperability.
Achievements:
• Italian Market assessment and Marketing plan definition;
• Designed and managed the product development of the Payments Capture Service, meeting the pilot launch deadline.
• Interoperability with Equens.
2003 - 2007Responsibilities:
• To maintain and develop relationships with senior management in major Italian accounts (Telecom Italia, H3G Spa, Tiscali, etc.).
Achievements:
• Exceeded allocated sales quota in FY 2005 and FY06.
