Starting from June 2005, I' ve been assigned to new testing project which deals with UMTS technolgy, with role of "test team leader".
The new position with increased responsability and a new technology to manage, plus the need to create a new environment of testing , has strongly stimulated me and permitted me to increase my own professional skills by:

- learning new technical competences concerning UMTS technology
(Nbap/ ALCAP protocols, WCDMA) and products RNC NodeB
- team responsability ( 4 person): consultant selection, role assignment,
competence transfer
- reporting towards line manager & technical project leader, and
meeting activity with local and remote teams involved in the project.

Having developed a good knowledge upon GSM products ( Operation and Maintenance), I continued in processing testing techniques, in particular aimed to improved the level of automation.

I undertook the role of test area responsible by means of:

- reporting activity towards team leader,( weekly reports production)
- peridocal TELCO and meeting partecipation with local and international
colleagues to manage technical problems
- "trials" activity with customers in order to show new product and
software relases.

The last activity described ( performed both inside the company and at the customer site) permitted me to feel more confident with the "customer approach".

The start of my career has been characterized by facing the testing and validation of a new product ( OMC RadioCommander GSM radimobile network) which presented an architectural change in the software part with respect to the old product.
This trasformation pushed me, since the beginning, in developing an approach to job matters not so linear, but oriented to manage different
problems at the same time, as:

- learning of software know-how in order to testing (UNIX/LINUX scripting,
communication protocols TCP/IP, X25, networking).

- technical analysis activity to increase the number of tests focused to
the new product.

- undertake the role of referent-point to consultant companies who were
developing simulator devices in parallelel to the project and that would
have been used to build up of the "testing environment".

6 months professional stage, from November 1998 to April 1999 at R&D Trasmission System Division Laboratory of Concorezzo.

Project: (Graduation Thesis): :” Project of a circuit for frequency
recovery in QAM Modulations”;

comparison (by means of calculator simulations) of the perfomances provided by several algorithms and structures in recovering the frequency and phase informations of the carrier signal at the receiver side.

As first working experience I was employed for one year in IBM in the factory of Vimercate.
The particular formula ( weekend-shift, night and day) allowed me to proceed with university courses and experience for the first time a job in a company.
