Hello I’m Ivan Dorna.
I’m always fascinated to find best solutions to solve problems, design product’s defects, help to evolving products and services, their markets and influences, follow strategic aspects and the philosophies behind them.
Fortunately I can apply this passion to my work, through information technology and applied technologies.
I’m started to use computer early, with DOS, Harvard Graphics, Word Perfect, GEM Desktop use experience permit me to stay interested in User-Interaction and office Automation solutions, through Corel, Lotus, Microsoft suites, to arrive, today, at latest Microsoft, OpenOffice, Apple solutions and latest kind of web applications and services.
Initially I’ve studied and made practical knowledge of large part of the ’80, ‘90 of hardware architectures and operating systems panorama, Microsoft, Apple, UNIX and Linux universes and minor OSes, comparing philosophies, paradigms, markets, and evolutions.
Security, Networking, Network Services, Systems Tuning, Domain Logicsand the Web, became next level of the study, the application of same philosophies, paradigms, abstractions in a larger environments.
From 1996/98 I’ve started to make home-made prototypes of various small hardware appliances, personal devices solutions, and robotics and automation solutions (portable music players, “different” input devices, domotic and automotive devices, 2 legs robots with various equilibrium solutions and gyroscopes to give agility).
At same time I became interested in various solutions to emulate systems and architectures, in order to use virtual machines as applicative roles, especially in high availability cluster systems, for migration purposes to reduce down times.
Today the name of “Serious” emulation is “Virtualization”.
With the birth of first virtualization products, I started to experiment different solution, being beta tester for various products. First of all: VMware, Xen, Qemu.
The Web and the application of hierarchical, relational, contextual streams, logics not only to contents (SEO, SEO) but to web services structures (Stream channels, video, content streaming) and languages (xhtml, css, html5), have permitted to extend my experience to those systems.
Application of hierarchical, relational, contextual flows, logics to the Web allowed to extend my experience not only for languages (XHTML, CSS, HTML5) and content management for search optimization (SEO, SEO, Semantic), but also to design structures and web services.
The continuous update to latest solutions and the knowledge of a wide range of technology market aspects, help me to anticipate the market evolution, and offer to companies a complete consulting service to tuning, evolving, or make new products and services.
