After the successfully plant start up in Egypt I have been sent to Italy in order to have the same position but for a glass coating line. This equipment is able to place several layers of different metal (Ni, Zn, Cu, ...) in order to achieve thermal, optical and cosmetic properties.

I'm still in charge of all the fluids (cooling water, vacuum, water treatment plant, special gases, compressed air,...)from the engineering to the start up of the plant.

For this Project I was in charge of the construction of the utilities of a new flat glass plant in Egypt (budget: 140 millions euros)
My role cover the pipping/ducting (from engineering to start up) of all the fluids: Water, Natural gas, LPG, N2H2, Fire fighting, compressed air.
I'm also in charge of all the rotating equipment (compressor, cooling towers, pumps,blowers...)

Fr example we are currently working on (design and set up) : a system to prevent overflow in the petrol tanks, a fire protection system around an unloading vessel dock, a system to control the flow trough the new 450km pipeline Abidjan-Bouake,…. SOUDOTEC is mainly working in Cote d’Ivoire but also have some contracts in Mali and Liberia.

Responsibilities:
• I’m responsible of different projects; from the quotation to the set up and also after sales service.
• The projects involve a lot of different sort of knowledge: electricity, mechanic, human resources, contracts, security …
• I had a training about the security regulations in oil industry (ATTEX, refinery security rules, …)

• I am working as a production manager with responsibility of leading fifty employees

• I ensure my team achieves maximum potential by coaching and mentoring, resulting in improved efficiency and communication with the top management.
• Responsible of the development of the new products: production and sample approval, quotation, mass production, quality.
• I set up a quality control procedure after the key process resulting in an improvement of the quality.
• I ensure the continuous improvement of the process (implement of new techniques, new material) to increase the production capacity.
• I ensure ongoing maintenance of equipment ensuring optimum performance.
• Help to plan the investment of the department.
