1984 - 1987This role included the analysis and evaluation of all investment opportunities in the IT market, the technical advising for some television programs (e.g. Bit Storie di Computers), magazines (e.g. MondoBit), most of new projects in the IT Market, and the start up phase of selected companies. He personally managed the start-up of Italware (the first national Software Packages distributor to operate in Italy, who imported, among the others, Microsoft products before the constitution of the Italian subsidiary) and the setting up of first edition of Master Pubblitalia (a Master educational program in the mass market communication area).

A long time have been dedicated to co-ordinate European and American subsidiary in timing and market policies. The role required to spend some time in the US working on international projects with the involvment of people coming from several countries.
Major projects have been the introduction of the Info Centre concepts in the IT department, the PC launch on the Italian market, the first IT European Road Show (lasted 18 months), the benchmarking of 43xx line against the 308x line before its introduction on the market.
